Pixelsynth privacy policy

Last updated September 13, 2026 · Pixelsynth 1.0 / Build 11

Your instrument runs on your device. Pixelsynth does not collect your personal data.

The Pixelsynth app

Pixelsynth is a synthesizer for iPhone and iPad, available as a standalone app and an AUv3 instrument extension. Sound generation and visual feedback happen on your device. The current app works offline and makes no network requests.

Pixelsynth has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, or in-app purchases. It does not request access to your microphone, contacts, photos, or location. We do not receive recordings, notes you play, or information about how you use the instrument.

Using another music app

When you load the Pixelsynth extension in a compatible AUv3 host, that host can send MIDI notes and save the plugin state with your project. This does not send information to Audiolux. The host app is a separate product with its own privacy policy and settings.

This website and support

This policy describes the Pixelsynth instrument. Visiting pixelboop.com or contacting support is separate from using the offline app. The website and its hosting provider process the connection information needed to serve pages and media. If you use our support form or email us, we receive the information you choose to provide so we can respond. See the PixelBoop website privacy policy for details about the website and its services.

Retention, access, and deletion

Because Pixelsynth does not collect personal data from the app, we have no app usage data to retain, provide, or delete. For information you send to support, contact hello@pixelboop.com to request access or deletion. We may need to retain records where required by law.

Children

Pixelsynth is a musical instrument for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We will update this policy if Pixelsynth’s data practices change. Features that introduce online services will be described here before that version is released.
